Information We May Gather
Federal law, and sound business practices, require we gather certain personally identifiable information such as your legal name, physical address, postal address, government issued identification number, date of birth, account number, transaction history, alert preferences, Online Banking ID, email address, and other bank account information you may provide to complete funds transfers. We may also gather information from check images you present to us when making a Mobile Deposit.
We may gather non-personally identifiable information such as your usage data, the IP address when services are requested, information about your device, and operating system you use when you access our online services. We may obtain the website address you came from when you sign on to our service or about the website address you visit when you leave our website. If you allow your online device to provide information about your location, we may collect information about your location when using our online services.
We may gather information from outside sources or third parties.
We, and many other online service providers, use cookies to facilitate your use of our online services. A cookie is a small text file placed on your device. If you wish to control your marketing preferences you may follow directions in any emails we send you, call us, or write us. You may control the types of alerts you receive through our Online Banking or Mobile Banking applications.
You may control the settings on your electronic devices. For example, you may turn off location services, or limit the use of the location services. We often include the method to stop communication directly in the messages we send you. If you limit the ability of your device, you may also limit our ability to provide a service you desire. For example, if you do not allow our Mobile Banking application to access your device’s camera, you will NOT be able to make a Mobile Deposit or if you disable location services, we may not be able to help you find an ATM/ITM closest to you.
You may change your browser settings related to cookies. Most browsers default to accepting cookies, but most browsers allow you to exercise more control over the placement of cookies. If you choose to eliminate our cookies, our server may not be able to identify you as a return user or retain your preferences on our website. Each browser software handles cookies differently.
