With a quick tap of your smart device, you can use your Security Bank of Kansas City's Debit Mastercard® to pay at millions of merchant locations that accept mobile payments. You get all of the same benefits your card offers, including added protection of Mastercard® Zero Liability¹.

You can set up your smart phone/smart watch to securely store your card's information and pay at millions of merchant locations that accept mobile payments. If you see the contactless card symbol located below, you can pay with your Digital Wallet app.

Add Your SBKC Debit Card Through Our Mobile App

  1. Download a compatible digital wallet app to your device. Security Bank of Kansas City debit cards can be added to Apple WalletGoogle Wallet and Samsung Wallet.

  2. Open the SBKC Mobile App and follow the prompts to add your card to your preferred digital wallet. For step-by-step instructions, see below or download the guide.

  1. Within the SBKC Mobile App, locate the tile labeled “Card management” and select the debit card you want to add to your Apple Wallet.


  2. Select “Add to Apple Wallet”.
  3. Select “Add to Apple Wallet”.
  4. If you have more than one Apple device, select what device you want to add your card to for Apple Pay.
  5. Within the “Add Card” step you may be prompted to input your "Name" and "Card Number". Select “Continue” to proceed.
  6. Review the “Terms and Conditions”. Select “Agree” to continue.

  7. Select “Use as Default Card” to make your SBKC card the primary card to be used within Apple Pay.
    If you add multiple cards, choose your default carefully. For example, HSA debit cards are intended for qualified medical expenses, and non-qualified purchases may have tax implications.

    Note: You may receive the “Could Not Add Card” error. If this occurs, please retry adding the card again immediately.
  8. You will now see “Card added” under the Apple Wallet.
  1. Within the SBKC Mobile App, locate the tile labeled “Card management” and select the debit card you want to add to your Google Wallet.
  2. Select “Add to Google Wallet”.
  3. Input verification code sent via text message.
  4. Select “Add to Google Wallet”.
  5. Select “Add to Wallet”.
  6. Review the “Terms of Service” and “Issuer terms”. Select “Continue” or “More” until all pages have been reviewed, then select “Accept” to continue.

  7. You will now see “Card added” under the Google Wallet.
  1. Within the SBKC Mobile App, locate the tile labeled “Card management” and select the debit card you want to add to your Samsung Wallet.
  2. Select “Samsung Wallet”.
  3. You will now leave the SBKC Mobile App and migrate to the Samsung Wallet.
  4. Review the “Terms of Service” and select “Agree” to continue.

  5. Your card will be added to your Samsung Wallet, with confirmation that your card has been added. Select “Return to banking app” to migrate back to the SBKC Mobile App.
  6. Back in the SBKC Mobile App, you will receive another confirmation. Select “Done” to continue.
