The Last Romance - September 25, 2019
at New Theatre
"Funny and heart-warming... you can't help but fall in love with it." - Boston Globe
The Last Romance is a heart-warming boy-meets-girl comedy. What makes it unique is that the boy and girl are senior citizens! Love, like aging, they discover, is not for the weak or those without a lively sense of humor. Charlie Robinson plays Ralph Bellini, a vigorous, full-of-life octogenarian with an eye for the ladies. Michael Learned is Carol Reynolds, an attractive, very well-dressed woman of a certain age who never expected another chance at love.

Join the Primetime Seniors on this autumn trip as we journey to Joplin, MO, Baxter Springs, KS and Bella Vista, AR. We will be staying at the Drury Inn & Suites in Joplin. Day One activities include a visit to the Joplin History & Mineral Museum for lunch & a tour, cruising around Joplin on a narrated city bus tour with a step-on-guide to see the local sites such as the historic Murphysburg neighborhood, Bonnie & Clyde's apartment, Cunningham Park destroyed by the 2011 tornado & now a touching tribute to the 161 citizens who perished and then ending our day at Keltoi Winery with a wine tasting and catered meal. On Day Two we will journey to Baxter Springs, one of only three small towns on the 14-mile stretch of Route 66 in Kansas, which is the shortest amount of mile of any state the Mother Road went through. Our activities include the Rainbow Bridge, Baxter Springs Heritage Center & Museum, the old Riverton store and newly opened Decades of Wheels Museum. On Day Three we will journey to Bella Vista to spend the morning at the Simple Pleasures Event Center. Entering Simple Pleasures is like stepping right into a Norman Rockwell painting with a vintage American soda fountain, autos, neon advertising and 1920s to 1970s memorabilia. We will have catered lunch and entertainment before leaving this beautiful venue with its multiple waterfalls and overhanging trees.

Church Basement Ladies - March 4, 2020
at New Theatre
"If laughter is the best medicine, this comedy would raise the dead" - Chicago Sun
The original is back! Church Basement Ladies is the hilarious musical comedy that mixes the silliness of Nunsense with the homespun humor of Prairie Home Companion. It's a celebration of the church basement kitchens everywhere and the wonderful, unsung women who work there. The script is spot on, the music is toe-tapping, the humor is delicious, and the cast includes some of the funniest people we have ever assembled on our stage.

On December 4, 1956, these 4 young musicians gathered at Sun Records in Memphis for what would be one of the greatest jam sessions ever.
