As authorized by the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act of 2020 (“Act”), a second round of stimulus payments will be available to those who meet the requirements. The new economic relief package that was passed by Congress provides further financial support for individuals and small businesses.

Who may qualify for a payment?
Individuals who earn up to $75,000 and couples filing jointly who make up to $150,000 will qualify for the $600 payment.
When will the payments be sent?
Starting on December 30, 2020, the second round of stimulus checks in the amount of $600 will be sent to those who meet the income requirements as well as $600 payments per dependent child.
Where will I receive the payment?
Payments will be direct deposited into the same bank account reflected on your most recently filed tax return.
Will I receive the payment to my account electronically?
If you are enrolled in Direct Deposit with the IRS and qualify for a stimulus payment, you may receive the funds in your account as soon as January 2, 2021.
What information will I need to setup Direct Deposit with the IRS?

When will the IRS send physical checks to those who don’t have Direct Deposit?
Starting on January 6, 2021, the US Treasury will begin mailing physical checks to qualified stimulus recipients who have not signed up for Direct Deposit with the IRS. As with the first round of stimulus checks, the IRS is sending the payments in waves.
If I receive a paper check, how can I deposit it?
If you receive a paper stimulus check, you can conduct a Mobile Deposit using our Security Bank of Kansas City Mobile App, visit a Security Bank of Kansas City Drive Thru location, or use a Security Bank of Kansas City ATM to conduct a deposit.

Congress has passed a new coronavirus relief package that includes additional funding for the Paycheck Protection Program.
