The IT Project Administrator provides high quality project management expertiese through coordinating, managing and administering IT-related porjects for all banks in the Valley View Bancshares group. Includes working closely with Information Technology Department technicians, with bank staff, and with vendors. |
| Qualifications: |
- Bachelor's degree in an information technology related feild or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
- Minimum of three years of experience of direct IT project management, preerably involving multiple concurrent jobs
- Minimum of one year of hands on experience using Microsoft Project; experience with Microsoft Project Server a plus.
- Solid understanding of project management concepts, terminology, practices, procedures; and, computer and network technologies, services, and concepts.
- Good computer usage skills, including fluency in using Microsoft Windows 2000/XP, Excel, Work, & Access.
- Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to work with diverse individuals, including negotiation skills.
- Ablity to analyze integrate information from relevant sources.
- Remains composed under stress and takes personal responsibility for delivering on personal and organizational commitments.
- Solid problem solving skills and ability to respond to changing circumstances and priorities in focused manner.
- Ability to travel locally.
- In addition to posssessing the skills necessary to perform the job, the employee must be willing and able to demonstrate these skills by coming to work on a daily basis.

Security Bank of Kansas City is looking for a highly motivated and experienced network professional to administer and maintain networks for a regional family of banks, its Data Center and disaster recovery site. This is a full time permanent position that will require considerable knowledge of, and hands-on experience with, current Cisco networking equipment (e.g., layer-three switches and ASA) and network technologies such as MPLS and VOIP. |
| Qualifications: |
Associate's degree in an information technology-related field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of three years network administration experience in a multi-site organization, including hands-on experience in each of the following: Cisco network device configuration and management; Cisco ASA; Sidewinder firewall; Solarwinds; IPSEC VPNs; TCP/IP; vLANs, VOIP, MPLS, DSL.
Cisco CCNA certification.

Provides professional quality computer network expertise to the Information Technology department through the administration of the bank’s computer networks.
Implements best practices for administering and securing the bank’s routers, switches and other network devices.
Manages, monitors, and maintains all of the bank’s computer networks and data circuits, including connectivity to automated teller machines.
Maintains inventory of equipment and parts; oversees maintenance agreements.
Diagnoses network problems and either makes repairs or oversees repairs, as needed.
Provides network performance monitoring, reporting, evaluation, and optimization using industry standard network management tools.
Proactively and assertively addresses issues as they arise. Advises management on networking requirements and problems and makes cost-effective recommendations.
Develops and documents procedures for managing the bank’s computing networks, including the development and testing of business continuity plans.
Installs, configures, and troubleshoots network software.
Serves as a Level 2 resource to the Help Desk for resolving network-related problems, both during and after banking hours.
Coordinates with staff at various levels within the Valley View Bancshares group of banks.
Coordinates with vendors and consultants.
